Motorbike Brake Tester FRM
The motorbike brake tester FRM is designed to check the brake condition of these, allowing a maximum axle load of up to 1 T. The braking force measurement is obtained from the electrical signal provided by a strain gauge to the data acquisition system.
The system consists of a frame with two rollers covered with welding or synthetic fibre to ensure good tyre adhesion in adverse conditions. It has built-in safety systems that detect the presence of the vehicle throughout the test and the adherence of the tyres at the time of measurement.
The most significant information obtained is:
- Brake force measurement for manual and pedal brakes
- Rolling resistance
- Measurement of ovality and weight (optional)
- Pedal effort (hand clamp and pedometer) *optional
- Braking performance
