Universal Brake Tester FRS (13 T)
The Universal Brake Tester FRS is a device used to perform a complete evaluation of the condition of the braking system of light or heavy vehicles of up to 13 T per axle.
Two welded steel frames, one for each wheel on the same axle, house rollers that ensure adequate adhesion for a successful test. Powerful motors drive the rollers and force cells report the braking performance continuously during the test.
The most significant information obtained is:
- Brake force measurement for manual and pedal brakes
- Rolling resistance
- Measurement of ovality and weight (optional)
- Pedal effort (hand clamp and pedometer) *optional
- Braking performance
Standard equipment
- Brake tester
- Control console
- Self-locking rollers for easy exit
- Electronic control and SMRW Software
- Start-up sensitiser
